Countryside Stewardship – grants and advice

In 2015 the government changed the way in which privately owned woodland is grant aided. The English Woodland Grant Scheme (EWGS) was terminated and replaced by the Countryside Stewardship Scheme. Therefore, grant funding of woodland management planning and work is still available, although the amount of money available has reduced significantly and in some cases the scoring system has altered in such a way as to reduce the likelihood of achieving grant assistance altogether.

Dryad Woodland Enterprise can advise on questions regarding CS funding and provide application and management planning services to all owners of Isle of Wight woodlands and forests.
